An initial 2-phase major enabling works package. The first phase was an eight-week isolation and strip out to a nine story office block on High Holborn, one of the busiest streets in London. Access was to the rear of site and all waste had to be broken down and passed carefully through a small hatch in rear forecourt. The project took place on top of a live gym, restaurant and supermarket, meaning extremely careful management of shared services and construction environment.

Phase two involved structural repairs, making safe, temporary works and the remote and silent demolition of reception slab, the removal of a triplex of lifts and demolition of associated cores. It also involved re-screeding and the re-casting of reception slab to suit new level access finish. First Demolition delivered the entire project to time and budget.

The biggest challenge was ensuring that four unique neighbouring businesses were unaffected by the works
