After FDS seamlessly carried out works in the sensitive Law Society’s Hall, Sykes & Son’s called on FDS to complete a demolition package within the grounds of the Grade II listed Royal Chelsea Hospital. The demolition site sat above a retaining wall with residential gardens directly below. Using a selector grab attachment and a spotting system, our operatives were able to progressively pull the garage wall away from the retaining wall without putting any residents or their property at risk.

To accommodate The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea’s noise restrictions and the proximity of the neighbours, FDS carried out regular acoustic and vibrations surveys. FDS also completed asbestos removal and the strip out of the neighbouring pavilion. All this in time for the Chelsea Flower Show.
